Logo breakdown: What We're About
The human skull is a high-quality and most-useful creation of God, and everyone has one! It keeps your brains contained, it holds your face on. It is not evil. We have used it to symbolize the death of SELFISHNESS (a true evil). Self Destruct is about LIFE!
Jesus said: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10). We just have to get our old selves (our sin nature) out of the way so God can give us His abundant life!
THE SWORD: The sword or dagger in our logo represents the Word of God.
“For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
THE EYE: The eye represents the Window to the Soul.
“For this people's heart has become calloused...and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.” Acts 28:27
THE SKULL: THE SKULL: The skull represents Dying to Self (the death of selfishness) and Living for Christ.
